Barefoot Radio exclusively features the music of independent bands and musicians so send your's!
We've been featured on Itunes front page. If you sell you're music in Itunes, please, submit your music!
Music
I have been deeply influenced by The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Smashing Pumpkins, Metallica, System of a Down, Rage Against The Machine, Tool, and Mano Vega. Guitarists who inspired me to practice very much are Nuno Bettencourt, Randy Rhodes and Zack Wylde. This last year I've been enjoying great edgy hip hop/punk rock/metal/reggae artists from Sub Noize and Silverback Music. Especially Kottonmouth Kings, Hed pe, Slightly Stoopid and The Expendables. I really enjoy the Individuals and Los Marijuanos music as well.
Movies
Just saw 300. It was interesting. A little cheesy. Ancient Sparta was written as homophobic. Haha. I am always searching for amazing movies with amazing stories so tell me if you want to recommend something. I love foreign films.
Television
Deadwood and Entourage are the most important shows on television. Lately I'm watching Real Time With Bill Maher and Celebrity Rehab w/Dr Drew.
Heroes
Ada, Dad, Bill Maher, Howard Stern, Kristin A. Reynolds, The Professor, Ghandi and Mohammed Ali. Conan O'Brian is the best late night talk show host. Somebody, everybody, save the world.
